Works of Youngwoong Jang

Youngwong is a Senior lighting artist with 15 years of experience at Blue Sky Studios in animated feature film and CG production, with over 8 years of lighting in a lead role.  He has a strong background in industrial design, which lends to strategic problem solving skills in visual expression. His lighting is deeply motivated by the story and style of the project. From the stylized lighting of “Peanuts”, to the romantic lighting of “Rio”, to the realistic lighting of ‘Epic”, to the vibrant lighting of “Spies in Disguise”, to the variety of lighting styles throughout the “Ice Age” films. His elegant lighting setups focus on storytelling and affecting audience emotions.
